ABOUT US

Team 4810 I.AM.ROBOT is an FRC team located in Clinton Township, MI. We were founded in December of 2012, a little less than a month before kickoff, making this our 8th year competing.  That first year we won the Rookie All-Star award and made our way to the FRC Championship. Ever since then our team has grown from 7 students and 2 mentors to about 66 students and 14 mentors.

Our school, the International Academy of Macomb, is comprised of highly motivated students from 19 school districts within Macomb County, making us a magnet school.

Every day our team makes the commitment to dedicate our time to not only building a new robot every year, but spreading awareness of STEM throughout our community as much as possible. See our outreach page for more information!

We pride ourselves on being a student-ran team with support from our mentors. The bonds formed throughout the season create a well-rounded team dynamic, but more importantly, a family atmosphere that goes beyond the build season and into off-season picnics, dinners, and bonfires.

The family dynamic is shown through the constant support and communication we have with our sponsors, which gives us the opportunity to further develop our love and passion for STEM.
