Trinity Camp: From July 7 -16, our team ran a STEM camp for the students of Trinity Lutheran Schools. Our team, aided by NHS volunteers, gave the students hands-on experience with multiple areas of STEM, from learning electrical with breadboards to finding solutions to common problems at school. Planning Our Trinity STEM Camp: This month, our team has been planning our eight-day STEM camp with Trinity Lutheran Schools. We have eight days of robot design, building, electrical work, and a mini competition between the students' robots. We plan on guiding the campers on how to use the power tools that we use in our shop, how to program mBots and Spike Prime robots, along with other crucial skills that we use during the FRC season. The Season Sets Sail: Despite Valentines Day, mid-winter break, and people leaving on vacation, our team pushed forward. With competition coming up at the end of March, our team is putting in some serious elbow grease with the robot. Our students have spent each evening working on the robot, facing the season head on! To begin, design finished up their work on the robot. They worked on a mechanism allowing the robot to climb, and are now working on any little edits necessary.

FENTON DISTRICT EVENT! Fenton was another successful competition for us. We started off the event a little rocky, however, through help of another team, we were able to diagnose an issue with our batteries. Showing gracious professionalism, Team 68 Truck Town Thunder allowed us to temporarily borrow one of their batteries. BATTLE CREEK PERFORMANCE At the end of the competition, we made it to playoffs! Although we had early robot issues with our au-ton, we continued to work and persevere and ended with a rank of eighteen out of thirty-nine teams! With our working robot, our team was picked to participate in semi-finals as part of alliance number five.
