Brownies Troop Host Event

I.AM.ROBOT recently had the opportunity to host a local group of Girls Scout Brownies and aid them in earning 3 STEM-centered Brownies badges. In addition to interactive hands-on activities, the girls learned about STEM topics and what STEM-centered activities like FIRST Robotics has to offer! These 7 talented ladies were guided through a series of activities where they designed, built, and programmed their own robot prototypes with the help of I.AM.ROBOT student volunteers. They also got an inside look at our past competition robots and shop highlights. Students were able to express their creativity through robot prototyping with Legos, then used Spheros to gain exposure to coding. They were then able to drive our competition robot, then concluded the day with a celebrational dodgeball tournament.
