What is FIRST?

FIRST's mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Team Mission Statement

Our mission is to break the stigma of STEM education by providing opportunities for members of all races, ethnicities and economic backgrounds to learn 21st-century skills and develop well-rounded leaders.

2026 Season

The 2026 FRC game, “Rebuilt,” per Wikipedia, centers on robots shooting high-density foam balls (called Fuel) into a central goal on their side of the field. At the end of the match, robots may move to a ladder-shaped structure called the Tower and climb up to three rungs to earn additional points. This game heavily relies on teamwork with building, repairing, and driving the robot.

2026 Impact award

The FIRST® Impact Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST. It honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.
