BATTLE CREEK PERFORMANCE
At the end of the competition, we made it to playoffs!
Although we had early robot issues with our au-ton, we
continued to work and persevere and ended with a rank of
eighteen out of thirty-nine teams! With our working robot,
our team was picked to participate in semi-finals as part of
alliance number five. After our performance, our team is
working hard to make sure that we can make playoffs again at
our next competition! We are so excited to be moving onto
our next competition in Fenton, and we hope that we can
work our robot to the potential we know it has!
Making a Splash!
This competition ended on the highest note we could’ve
ever hoped for. After a long wait and a season of hard
work, our team has won the FIRST Impact Award. We
won because of all of the outreach we have hosted and
the amount of effort we put into making STEM
available for the rest of our community. However, we
could not have hosted any outreach, or built our robot,
without your help. We are proud to thank all of you, our
gracious sponsors, for your support to grow our team.
We hope to make an even bigger splash as time goes on!
What's up next:
Within the next month, our team still has much
to prepare for. Our next competition is week six
in Fenton, followed by States at Sagainaw Valley
State University. Our team, for now, is working
on making improvements to our robot and
Impact. Stay tuned for more exciting information
in our next newsletter!

On March 19, we hosted a section at
the IAM Student Showcase! Six of our
IA students participated to spread the
purpose of STEM. The students were
able to talk to incoming freshman and
current students. Our 2024 robot,
“Ditto” was driven by the team in front
of students to spark STEM interest.
Because of parent teacher conferences,
the current IAM students also got to visit
the team’s showcase and see what our
team has to offer!
